To add a Rakuten.com Shopping shipping rule

You can create inventory group shipping rules to manage shipping methods and costs.

Description

When you create a shipping rule, you define the items you want the settings to apply to, select a Standard, Expedited, and Premium (optional) shipping method, and enter a free shipping surcharge (optional).

When processing an item for listing, Monsoon Marketplace evaluates it against the first in your list of shipping rules. If the item matches the rule's criteria, it's uploaded for listing with the rule's settings. If it doesn't match, Monsoon Marketplace evaluates it against the next rule in the list until it finds a match.

Monsoon Marketplace compares an item to shipping rules from top (first rule in the list) to bottom (the default rule).

If an item doesn't match any of your shipping rules, Monsoon Marketplace applies the settings in the Default - All Inventory rule.

Note You can raise or lower a shipping rule's position when you have at least two rules in addition to your Default (All Inventory) rule. Right-click to select a shipping rule then click Raise Priority or Lower Priority. See also Shipping rule priority.

On the Settings tab, under Rakuten.com, click Shipping Rules.
Click Add Rule then define the items you want the rule to apply to:

Category: Select one or more product categories.
Condition: Select one or more item conditions.
Fulfillment Type: Click Local. FBA listings are not supported at this time.
Classification: Ignore, include, or exclude classifications and smart classifications.
Age: Ignore inventory age or set the filter to apply to items that are older or newer than a specific number of days. See Inventory Age and Days Since First Received.
Market Rank: Ignore sales rank or set the filter to apply to items that are greater or less than a specific number. See Amazon sales rank.
Collectible: Collectible items are not uploaded to Rakuten.com Shopping at this time.
Weight: Ignore weight or set the filter to apply to items that are greater or less than a specific number.
Quantity: Ignore quantity or set the filter to apply to items that have a quantity greater than a specific number.
Price: Ignore price or set the filter to apply to items that have a price greater than or less than a specific amount.

Under Shipping Strategy, select the Standard or Expedited check box then select Free (Standard only), Flat Rate, or Weight-based.

Rakuten.com Shopping requires a Standard shipping method for all listings. The flat or weight-based shipping rates you define in Monsoon display in an item's listing.

Under Premium Shipping Methods, select Same Day, One Day, or Two Day.(Optional)

If you select a check box, you need to set up a corresponding shipping definition on your Rakuten.com Shopping seller account.

Under Free Shipping Surcharge, you can enter an amount to add to the item price at the time an item lists. (Optional)

If an item matches a shipping rule that has a free shipping option, the free shipping surcharge is added to item price at the time the item lists. If the item has an item level shipping surcharge (non-media categories only), the surcharge is also added to item price at the time the item lists. (Listed price = item price + item level shipping surcharge + shipping rule free shipping surcharge)

Click OK to save.
