Listing Rule Criteria

You can control which items sell on which markets by creating listing rules using the criteria described below. In general, the criteria When an item matches all (or in the situation of Category and Classifications, part) of a rule's criteria, Monsoon Marketplace uploads it for listing. (For eBay-specific information, see eBay Listing Rule Criteria.)

• Category: You can select which categories you want a rule to apply to. If you do not select a category, the rule applies to all categories. If you select multiple categories, this rule applies to any of the categories you have selected. For more information about selling on Amazon, see Amazon Product Categories Supported by Monsoon Marketplace and the Amazon website.
• Condition: You can select which conditions you want a rule to apply to. If you do not select a condition, the rule applies to all conditions.
• Fulfillment Type: For markets that support both local and Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) listings, you can specify that you want a rule to apply to only local inventory or only FBA inventory. If you do not select a fulfillment type, the rule applies to both local and FBA inventory.
• Classifications: You can specify that a rule applies to items with defined classifications and/or smart classifications. For more information, see Classifications and Classification Notes and Smart Classifications.
• Age: You can specify that a rule applies only to items that are older or newer than a defined number of days. For more information, see Inventory Age and Days Since First Received.
• Market Rank: You can specify that a rule applies only to items that are greater or less than a defined sales rank. For more information, see Amazon Sales Rank.
• Collectible: You can specify that a rule applies only to items where the Collectible check box is selected. Amazon approval is required to sell books in Collectible condition. To learn about the approval process, see the Amazon website.
• Weight: You can specify that a rule applies only to items that weigh greater than or less than a defined number of pounds. For UK installations of Monsoon Marketplace, the weight measurement is in kilograms.
• Quantity: You can specify that a rule applies only to items that have greater than a defined number of units in stock.
• Price: You can specify that a rule applies only to items that have a price greater than or less than a defined amount. When Monsoon Marketplace evaluates an item's listing eligibility, it considers the item's price not including any optional shipping surcharges.
