To add an Amazon Buy Box pricing strategy

In Monsoon Marketplace and Monsoon Marketplace Warehouse, you can add a Buy Box pricing strategy on the Settings tab under Buy Box Strategies.

Description

The examples below explain how to set up a strategy to price less than, price to match, and price greater than the Buy Box winner.

After you add a strategy, you can apply it to an inventory group on the Settings tab under Inventory Pricing.

Less than the Buy Box winner

1. On the Settings tab, click Buy Box Strategies, then click Add Buy Box Strategy.
2. In Strategy Name, type a name.
3. In Strategy Notes, type a description of the strategy, such as Undercut strategy for toys in new condition more than 90 days old.
4. Under Price Target, select Price less than the Buy Box winner by 3%.
5. When you price less than the Buy Box winner by a percentage, you also have the option to stop your undercut at a certain amount. In this example, we'll set our maximum undercut amount at $1.25.

• If the percentage undercut is greater than the maximum undercut amount, the pricing strategy uses the monetary undercut amount. In this example, if the 3% undercut exceeds $1.25, the item will price less than the Buy Box winner by $1.25.

6. Under Buy Box fallback, select a strategy. Your fallback strategy is used only when information about the Buy Box winner is unavailable.

7. Click Save.

Match the Buy Box winner

1. On the Settings tab, click Buy Box Strategies, then click Add Buy Box Strategy.
2. In Strategy Name, type a name.
3. In Strategy Notes, type a description of the strategy, such as Match strategy for toys in new condition less than 90 days old.
4. Under Price Target, select Price to match the Buy Box winner.
5. Under Buy Box fallback, select a strategy. Your fallback strategy is used only when information about the Buy Box winner is unavailable.

6. Click Save.

Greater than the Buy Box winner

1. On the Settings tab, click Buy Box Strategies, then click Add Buy Box Strategy.
2. In Strategy Name, type a name.
3. In Strategy Notes, type a description of the strategy, such as Use for FBA toys with quantity greater than 300.
4. Under Price Target, select Price greater than the Buy Box winner by 3%.
5. Under Buy Box fallback, select a strategy. Your fallback strategy is used only when information about the Buy Box winner is unavailable.

6. Click Save.
