To place your items in the best selling position, Monsoon Marketplace calculates an item's base price using total price including shipping.

All pricing calculations for Amazon US, UK, DE, ES, FR, IT, and CA consider shipping when pricing your items.

For example, let's say that you list a camera case on Amazon US and you have the following settings in place:

A pricing strategy of Lowest Price, which matches your item against a competitive offer listing with the lowest total price (item price + shipping).
A shipping rate of $5.00.

When your camera case prices to list on Amazon US, it matches a competitive offer listing with the lowest total price of $15.79 ($15.79 item price + $0.00 shipping).

Your competitor's total price = $15.79 ($15.79 item price + $0.00 shipping).
Your total price = $15.79 ($10.79 item price + $5.00 shipping).
Your Amazon US base price = $10.79 item price.

Note Your home market is determined by your Microsoft Windows region and is set as Amazon US for US-based sellers, Amazon UK for UK-based sellers, and Amazon CA for Canada-based sellers. When you list on Amazon marketplaces other than your home market, your price is retrieved from those marketplaces. Amazon UK listings retrieve prices from Amazon UK, Amazon FR listings retrieve prices from Amazon FR, and Amazon DE listings retrieve prices from Amazon DE prices. Amazon ES and IT retrieve prices from Amazon UK.
