To see how an item priced (view pricing history)

On the My Inventory tab, you can see how an item priced and view earlier pricing events.

Description

1. On the My Inventory tab, click the My Price ellipses (...) button.

2. In the Pricing Information dialog box, click a market's ellipsis (...) button to open the Recent Pricing History dialog box.

• The number of pricing events stored for an item are displayed in the Pricing Events column. If you see 0 pricing events for all markets, please check that your Pricing History slider is not set to the far left (off). See Pricing history.

In the Recent Pricing History dialog box, you can:

• Navigate to view stored pricing events from oldest to most recent.
• See any change in an item's price from the previous pricing event (if the price went up or down).
• See the system time of the most recent pricing event (when an item last repriced).
• See the pricing strategy used to price an item.
• See a message if the settings in the pricing strategy used to price an item are different that the settings used in the previous pricing event.
• See a message if the pricing strategy used to price an item is a different pricing strategy than the one used in the previous pricing event.
• Click Reprice Now! to reprice an item and create a new pricing event.

In the Recent Pricing History dialog box, you can also click Details to see a list of competitors considered during pricing and the pricing actions taken including whether a price ceiling or a price floor was applied.

• The first time an item prices using a default price, the following message displays: No competitive listings, market price, or MSRP available. Used default price.
• When an item reprices and uses the default price again, the following message displays: Used existing price.
• If pricing data is unavailable at the time Monsoon Marketplace reprices an item, an error displays along with the message: No details. When pricing data is unavailable, Monsoon Marketplace skips repricing the item, leaves the price unchanged, and tries again later.
• No details display for items using the Fixed Price strategy.
