Price floor

To calculate an item's price floor, Monsoon Marketplace adds the value entered in Cost of Goods to the values entered in Profit and Floor Modifier.

Description

A price floor is the lowest item price a SKU has the potential to list for on any given market. A price floor does not include shipping or shipping surcharges which are added to an item at the time it lists to make up the item's total delivered cost.

You can set a price floor for each market you sell on and for each inventory group you set up using the values in Cost of Goods, Profit, and Floor Modifier.

Cost of Goods
A fixed monetary amount. See Cost of goods.

Profit
Either a monetary or percentage amount depending on your profit mode. See Profit and Profit mode.

Profit mode
Sets your profit either as a percentage of Cost of Goods or as a fixed monetary amount. See Profit and Profit mode.

Price Floor Modifier
A fixed monetary amount added to Cost of Goods and Profit when calculating a price floor. See Price Floor Modifier.
