Amazon Shipping Rules

Similar to a listing rule, you can define a shipping rule in terms of inventory groups. A shipping rule applies shipping templates to specific inventory groups at the time the items list on the market.

A default shipping rule is applied to all listings that do not meet the criteria of another shipping rule. Other shipping rules that you add can be edited or deleted.
Monsoon Marketplace does not currently support banded shipping which calculates your shipping rates based on the price of your items.
Shipping rules must have at least one category selected—they cannot be blank.

Lead time to ship

The option to configure an item's lead time to ship, or fulfillment latency, is available when the listing is a Amazon Home Market listing.

Note: Entering a value for the Lead Time to Ship (In Days) setting on the My Inventory tab will override the Handling Time setting for the eBay market set from the Settings tab. (For more information about setting eBay handling times directly, see eBay Handling (Dispatch) Time.)

Shipping rates

The shipping rate that you entered into an inventory group's shipping template will be used for every category unless Amazon has set a default shipping rate for a category.

The per shipment and per item shipping rates you enter for a shipping template need to match the rates you set up on your Amazon seller account.
In all cases, the shipping rates for media listings—Books, Music, VHS, and DVDs—are determined by Amazon.
