Our Product and Engineering teams have built a new, modernized platform for configuring the Monsoon software remotely and for receiving information (such as logs) that's both easier to use and is highly secure. After you receive this update, our Customer Support team will be able to use this new platform to troubleshoot and resolving issues.

• Updates the shipping rates for orders purchased through Alibris. Alibris changed their shipping rate values, and the values in Monsoon Marketplace have been updated to match the new Albiris rates. Version 5.55.0

• Updates Monsoon Marketplace's ability to automatically list products that are Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) when the FBA quantity is zero. Previously, the feature allowed listings to be published for any zero quantity FBA products. After this update, the feature will only publish listings for zero quantity FBA products received after the feature is enabled. This change should ensure that listings are published for FBA products while also ensuring that listings aren't created for products you no longer stock in your inventory.
• Updates the eBay marketplace integration to retrieve order information using the GetOrders API call. Previously, the GetOrderTransactions API call was used to retrieve some order information, and eBay is decommissioning the GetOrderTransactions on January 31, 2024. This update will ensure the order information from the GetOrders API call before and after January 31, 2024 decommission deadline.
• Updates the Walmart API integration in order to support consolidated order details for multi-quantity orders. Previously, Walmart would split multi-quantity orders into individual line items, and they are releasing the ability to consolidate these line items in their August 31, 2023 API release.
• Fixes an issue that was causing an unhandled exception error in certain situations when an eBay marketplace was enabled and a product was added to Monsoon Marketplace using the Inventory Receiving tab. This fix will ensure your products can be added to Monsoon Marketplace when an eBay marketplace is enabled.
• Fixes an issue that was causing Monsoon Marketplace to update the pricing information of a marketplace when the price of a product had not changed. This issue led to some products becoming stuck in Modified status in Monsoon Marketplace. This fix will ensure pricing information is only updated when the price has changed, and products will no longer become stuck in Modified status.
• Fixes several issues that were preventing the synchronization of Amazon Selling Partner API (SP API) keys between the Monsoon Cloud and Monsoon Marketplace after the API keys had expired and been renewed. This fix will ensure your renewed SP API keys are always synchronized after they have been renewed.

• Adds the ability to search by the Tracking Number in the Orders tab. This feature will help you find orders faster when a buyer has an issue.
• Adds the ability to support selling on Amazon Belgium using the Build International Listings feature of Amazon Seller Central.
• Adds the ability to view the Last Received Date for a SKU in the My Inventory tab. This feature will help you make decisions such as whether a SKU should be replenished or whether you want to cull a SKU from inventory.
• Updates packing slips to show the regional currency symbol for each marketplace that is supported using the Amazon Building International Listings (BIL) feature of Seller Central. Prior to this change, the packing slips for BIL marketplaces always showed the currency symbol of US dollar ($).
• Updates the Amazon Low Price field to include the shipping fee of the offer that was considered the Amazon low price at the time the product priced. Previously, this field would only display the price of the offer that was considered the Amazon Low Price. This change allows you to view the price + shipping of the Amazon Low Price field in the Inventory Receiving and My Inventory tabs, Receiving Thresholds will now use the price + shipping Amazon Low Price when evaluating products, and any Smart Classifications that include the Amazon Low Price field will now use the price + shipping.
• Fixes an issue that was preventing the ability to delist Amazon marketplaces.
• Fixes an issue that was preventing the ability to retrieve orders from Amazon marketplaces in certain situations.
• Fixes an issue that was preventing the ability to view product variations when searching for a parent ASIN using the Inventory Receiving tab.
• Removes unused code for eBay, Amazon, and Walmart features that were migrated to newer APIs in recent releases. This change does not impact the behavior or support of features of Monsoon Marketplace in any way. The removal of the unused code from Monsoon Marketplace will simplify the code base for our Engineering team, and it will make it easier for them to add or change features in the future.

Version 5.53.0

• Adds the ability for Monsoon Marketplace to automatically list products that are Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) when the FBA quantity is zero. The zero quantity FBA listings will allow you to easily add those products to FBA shipments using Amazon Seller Central, and it will ensure Monsoon Marketplace will manage these listings automatically. This feature requires Amazon FBA to be enabled in Monsoon Marketplace, the feature disabled by default, and you can contact the Monsoon Support Team to enable the feature.
• Adds the ability to automatically rotate the Login with Amazon (LWA) credentials used to authenticate with the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP API). Amazon requires the LWA credentials are rotated every 180 days to maintain a secure integration, so this change will ensure LWA credentials are automatically rotated and refreshed. Amazon will also periodically request that you reauthorize SP API applications such as Monsoon Marketplace for security reasons. When you receive an email from Amazon asking you to reauthorize your SP API applications, follow Amazon's instructions as soon as possible to ensure your applications continue to communicate with the SP API.
• Fixes an issue that was causing Amazon Ship by Region settings to be unavailable after enabling an new Amazon marketplace. This fix will ensure that Amazon Ship by Region settings are always available after enabling a new Amazon marketplace.
• Fixes an issue that was preventing the ability to add product to Monsoon Training Mode using an Inventory Import file. This fix will allow you to import products again into Monsoon Training Mode.
• Removes support for the Amazon Merchant Web Services API (MWS API) integration from Monsoon Marketplace. Amazon replaced the MWS API with the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP API), and Amazon deprecated the MWS API in early 2023. The removal of the deprecated MWS integration from Monsoon Marketplace will simplify the Amazon code base for our Engineering team, and it will make it easier for them to add or change features related to the Amazon integration.

• Adds the ability to support selling on Amazon Brazil, Netherlands, Poland, and Sweden using the Build International Listings feature of Amazon Seller Central.
• Updates Monsoon Marketplace to communicate with Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP API) by default for all supported Amazon marketplaces. This change will ensure any new Monsoon Marketplace servers or workstations are automatically configured to communicate using the SP API.
• Updates the feature that allows you to start selling on a new Amazon marketplace. This feature now uses the SP API, and the workflow has been simplified and improved.
• Updates the Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) Listing Hold feature to be disabled by default. This change will help ensure that your FBA products automatically list and price after they're synchronized with Monsoon Marketplace.

• Adds the ability to continuously synchronize the quantity of products that are Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) using the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP API). This feature helps prevent overselling products FBA by ensuring the quantity in Monsoon Marketplace is continuously updated based on the latest information Amazon provides.
• Adds the ability to automatically add products to Monsoon Marketplace using the SP API when the product is FBA and the shipment was created and sent to FBA using Amazon Seller Central. This feature allows Monsoon Marketplace automatically price, and synchronize the quantity of, products that were sent to FBA using Seller Central in order to ensure those products are competitively priced and not overselling.
• Fixes an issue that was preventing orders from being retrieved from the SP API periodically.

• Adds the ability to programmatically search for products in Amazon's catalog using the latest version of the SP API. Amazon is deprecating older versions of the API for products on October 1, 2022. This change will ensure that you continue to get product information for products you add using Inventory Receiving, an inventory file, or the Data Exchange.
• Adds the ability to publish listings to the Walmart.com marketplace using the latest version of the Walmart API. Walmart is deprecating older versions of the API for publishing listings on October 1, 2022. This change will ensure that your products continue to list on the Walmart.com marketplace.
• Updates the carrier code information for DHL Global Mail for the Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it, Amazon.es, Amazon.ca, and Walmart.com marketplaces. This change will ensure that orders shipped using DHL Global Mail will be processed by all marketplaces that support that shipping method.
• Improves the way Monsoon Marketplace determines the information that needs to be synchronized from the Monsoon Cloud. This change will improve the efficiency of syncronizing information from the Monsoon Cloud to your Monsoon Marketplace server.
• Fixes an issue that was causing an error when adding a product using the Inventory Receiving tab, the category of the product was Books, and the ASIN value started with a B.
• Fixes an issue that was causing a delay when adding a product using the Inventory Receiving tab and product pricing and offer information was unavailable for the Amazon Home Market.
• Fixes an issue that was preventing new Amazon marketplaces from being added to Monsoon Marketplace.

• Adds the ability to programmatically change a product's ASIN in Monsoon Marketplace using the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP API). This feature is used to change the ASIN when Amazon consolidates multiple products into one ASIN or changes the ASIN in their product catalog.
• Adds the ability to update the quantity of products Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) using the Amazon SP API. There is a feature that continuously synchronizes the quantity of FBA products in Monsoon Marketplace with the quantity of products at FBA. When the continuous synchronization feature is unable to update the quantity of FBA products in Monsoon Marketplace, then this new feature programmatically updates quantity using an Amazon report.
• Improves the performance of editing Inventory Export Templates. This optimization should reduce the amount of time you have to wait for the Export Wizard dialog after selecting the option to edit an Inventory Export Template.
• Fixes an issue that was causing a seller's own competitive offer to be considered when pricing a product in a rare situation.
• Fixes an issue that was impacting the Monsoon Marketplace ability to apply promotions when orders were programmatically retrieved using the Amazon SP API.
• Fixes several issues that were preventing Monsoon Marketplace's ability to programmatically retrieve orders using the Amazon SP API.
• Fixes an issue that was causing some Amazon orders to display a $0.00 price on the Orders tab when the price value of the order was greater than $0.00.

Version 5.46.0

• Adds the ability to programmatically add Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) products to Monsoon Marketplace using the Selling Partner API (SP API). This feature is used to add products that were sent to FBA using a method other than Monsoon Marketplace such as Amazon Seller Central.
• Adds the ability to prevent communication with the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP API) when the SP API credentials are invalid. This feature will ensure that the Monsoon Services won't use resources on a marketplace that they can't communicate with.
• Optimizes the way that data is retrieved when doing an Inventory Export and when modifying an Inventory Export Template. This optimization should improve the speed of Inventory Exports and the speed of launching the Export Wizard dialog from the Import/Export Templates section of the Settings tab.
• Fixes an issue that was preventing Monsoon Marketplace from refunding orders when tax was charged on Amazon European (EU) marketplaces. This issue only occurred in certain situations, and orders can now be refunded regardless of whether tax is charged.
• Fixes several issues that were preventing Monsoon Marketplace from retrieving Merchant-Fulfillment Network (MFN) and Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) orders using the Selling Partner API (SP API).
• Fixes an issue that was preventing Monsoon Marketplace from retrieving offer information from the Selling Partner API.

Version 5.45.0

• Adds the ability for the Price Ceiling option "For used items, use [ __ ] % of the lowest new price as a price ceiling" to be applied for all pricing use cases. Previously, Amazon only provided this information in certain scenarios, so the feature could only be applied for certain use cases. Amazon has made the information available for all scenarios, so this feature will now be applied for all use cases.
• Adds the ability to programmatically retrieve Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) orders from Amazon marketplaces using the Selling Partner API. This feature is being beta tested and is disabled by default.
• Fixes an issue with the Selling Partner API integration where the results of a Keyword Search in the Inventory Receiving tab would show products from all categories instead of the specific category the user had selected.
• Removes the ability to "Consider ALL item conditions" when pricing products. Amazon deprecated this feature as part of their migration to the Selling Partner API. This feature was only used by a few users, and most of those users have already migrated their Custom Pricing Strategies to use the "Only consider USED items if my item is USED, NEW items if my item is NEW" option prior to this release. If you are one of the users that still used the "Consider ALL item conditions" option prior to this release, your Custom Pricing Strategy will automatically be change to, and products will automatically start pricing using the, "Only consider USED items if my item is USED, NEW items if my item is NEW" option as part of the update to Monsoon Marketplace version 5.45.0.

• Fixes an issue that was preventing Monsoon Marketplace from retrieving orders using Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP API) in certain situations. This fix is only applicable to customers participating in the SP API beta.
• Fixes an issue where the Shipping Tax for Amazon.de orders was displayed in Euros instead of British Pounds. This fix is only applicable when your Amazon home market is Amazon.co.uk.

Amazon will begin deprecating MWS features in the second half of 2022, and we'll be migrating Monsoon Marketplace to the SP API in advance of any deprecation deadlines. The following SP API features and fixes are being beta tested and are disabled by default. • Adds the ability to programmatically retrieve orders from Amazon marketplaces. Prior to this change, Monsoon Marketplace relied on an Amazon Order Report to retrieve orders. After this change, Monsoon Marketplace will retrieve orders using API calls, so orders should be visible in Monsoon Marketplace faster than previously possible.
• Adds the ability to ship, cancel, and refund orders from Amazon marketplaces.
• Adds the ability to search for products in Amazon's catalog using Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) and Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN).

• Improves the performance of editing Inventory Export Templates. This optimization should reduce the amount of time you have to wait for the Export Wizard dialog after selecting the option to edit an Inventory Export Template.
• Improves the performance of the feature to anonymize the Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of eBay.com and eBay.co.uk orders. Prior to this optimization, there was a rare issue that could occur where this feature delayed eBay order retrieval.
• Removes the ability to modify the Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of Amazon orders in accordance with Amazon’s Acceptable Use Policy. PII includes information such as the Buyer Name, Address 1, and Postal Code. Prior to this change, you were able to edit the PII for all marketplaces including Amazon.

Version 5.42.0

• Adds the ability to input a Delivery Service and a Carrier Name when shipping Amazon orders using the Monsoon Marketplace Data Exchange or Database Views. The Delivery Service is available for all Amazon orders, and the Carrier Name field is only available when a Carrier Code of Other is selected for an Amazon order. These new fields will allow you the flexibility to meet Amazon's Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) requirements. With VTR, depending on the Amazon marketplace and whether the Amazon order is domestic or international, the Tracking Number, Carrier Code, Delivery Service, and Carrier Name may be required when confirming Amazon orders. Amazon may also validate the values that you input when these fields are required. See the VTR requirements in your Amazon Seller Central account for more details.
• Adds the ability to anonymize the Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of eBay.com and eBay.co.uk orders. When a buyer requests that their eBay account be deleted or closed, eBay will send a notification to let us know that the buyer requested that their PII should be removed. After Monsoon Marketplace receives the notification, the buyer’s PII will be automatically removed from your Monsoon Marketplace server and replaced with the phrase "View on eBay". If eBay retained any of the buyer's information, it will be viewable in their Seller Hub.
• Optimizes database performance of information related to eBay item specifics. This change will improve the performance of any automated or manual features that need to access eBay item specific data.
• Updates the default categorization of any products listed on eBay.com for the categories listed below. eBay updated their product catalog, and several default categories were deprecated. Any listings published in the categories that were deprecated will need to be to the updated to the new default category.
  • The default categorization of Auto Parts & Accessories on eBay.com has been changed to Other Car & Truck Parts & Accessories.
  • The default categorization of Jewelry on eBay.com has been changed to Other Jewelry & Watches.

These new fields will allow you the flexibility to meet Amazon's Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) requirements. With VTR, depending on the Amazon marketplace and whether the Amazon order is domestic or international, the Tracking Number, Carrier Code, Delivery Service, and Carrier Name may be required when confirming Amazon orders. Amazon may also validate the values that you input when these fields are required. See the VTR requirements in your Amazon Seller Central account for more details.
• Adds the ability to view the Amazon error message in the Event Viewer when there is an issue shipping an Amazon order. This feature will give you visibility into why an Amazon order could not be shipped, so you can fix the issue and ship the order to the buyer.
