Processing orders

When Monsoon Marketplace downloads an order, you can view all of the order's details on the Orders tab. You can also print a packing slip, print postage, ship, cancel, and refund an order.

Order processing workflow

The standard workflow for an order is:

  1. Monsoon Marketplace downloads an order to your system.
  2. You print a packing slip.
  3. You print postage (for customers who use the Monsoon Marketplace Endicia DAZzle shipping integration).
  4. You ship the order.

After an order downloads, you can also adjust quantity, cancel an order item, cancel the entire order, refund part of the order, or refund the entire order.

Certain processes like adjusting order quantity or refunding an order can be different for different markets depending on when the market charges the buyer for the order. Some markets charge buyers when they place an order and some markets charge buyers when you ship an order.

Markets that charge buyers whey they place an order.

Markets that wait to charge buyers until you ship an order:

In the article below, we'll look at the basics of the Orders tab and how to process an order. We'll also highlight any processes that are market-specific or specific to a group of markets.
