To set Price Floor Modifier by inventory group and market

You can set a Price Floor Modifier on the Settings tab under Inventory Pricing to account for varying costs by market and inventory group.

Description

Note Price Floor Modifier is set at the inventory group level, not at the item level, although you can view an item's price floor by market on the My Inventory tab. If you don't select a market when setting pricing for an inventory group, the pricing criteria you select applies to all markets.

On the Settings tab, click Inventory Pricing, and then click Add Inventory Group.
Select the criteria, including the market, you want to define the inventory group. If you don't select a market, the pricing criteria you select applies to all markets.

Type a value in Cost of Goods, Profit, and Floor Modifier.

In this example, let's use the following values:

Cost of Goods = $8.00
Profit = 30% (The profit mode Profit is percentage of Cost of Goods is selected.)
Floor Modifier = $1.00

The price floor calculates as follows:

Note If you enable or modify Price Ceiling or one of the values that's used to calculate a price floor and the price floor calculates as higher than the price ceiling, a message displays detailing any adjustments that need to be made. For additional information, see Price ceiling.
