To set up a standard Monsoon Marketplace server and workstation network, you'll need PCs with Ethernet cards, a wired router with at least 4 LAN ports, a broadband modem, and high-speed DSL or cable Internet service.
Important Monsoon Marketplace needs a continuous, uninterrupted connection to the Internet so that your inventory and pricing data can be regularly updated. When you set up your network, be sure to use a wired router and broadband modem to create your stable Internet connection. Dial-up, satellite, and wireless Internet connections are not supported. Also, make sure that your server isn't set to automatically go into standby, sleep, or hibernation mode. If a server enters any of these modes, it stops communicating with all marketplaces and workstations.
