Setting Up Alibris

Before you enable Alibris, you need to complete the following prerequisites:

  1. Sign up for an Alibris seller account.
  2. Set up Alibris FTP accounts for inventory and order processing.
  3. Remove your listings (for sellers who currently sell on Alibris).

Signing up for an Alibris seller account

The first step in listing your inventory on Alibris is to register a seller account.

Monsoon Marketplace and Alibris communicate using FTP, a standard method of transferring files. You can set up inventory and order FTP accounts by sending an email to Alibris Seller Services.

Example email:

I am preparing to sell on Alibris using Monsoon Marketplace and need FTP accounts for inventory and order processing.

Please use my Alibris seller account credentials as my FTP credentials and turn on EDI Lite to start automatic order feeds.

My account information is:

Please send me a confirmation email when the FTP accounts are active and EDI Lite is turned on.

Removing your listings

If you currently sell on Alibris, you need to remove (purge) your listings before you enable the market. Choose one of the following steps:
