Configuring Automated Email for Multi-Channel Shipments

Amazon does not send shipping confirmation emails for multi-channel orders. All shipment notifications for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Multi-Channel Fulfillment orders are managed locally by you.

If you have automated email set up for your multi-channel markets in Monsoon Marketplace, a shipment notification for FBA multi-channel orders is sent to your customer after Amazon confirms that the order has shipped. Monsoon Marketplace shipment notification emails include any tracking information provided by Amazon.

In the case of split fulfillments, an email is sent for each shipment as items are shipped.

For split fulfillment orders containing FBA and local inventory items, one FBA tracking number is stored in Monsoon Marketplace. In the event that Amazon sends the FBA items to your customer in separate shipments, you can receive more than one shipment tracking number from Amazon.

Monsoon Marketplace records the first tracking number received for an order, either locally-fulfilled or FBA, whichever comes first. Only this first received shipment tracking number is displayed when viewing your orders in Monsoon.

Note If you add yourself as a BCC on automated emails for multi-channel markets, you can capture any secondary tracking numbers.
