Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) shipment origins are the locations you ship your products from. Your default shipment origin is automatically filled in with the company information entered on your Settings tab under Address.
After you enable FBA, you can modify your default shipment origin, add new shipment origins, or edit or delete existing shipment origins.
When you send an item to FBA, if the default shipment origin is the only address available, it is used by default as the shipment origin for FBA and you cannot change it. If you have entered additional addresses, you can select the shipment origin from the Fulfillment Center Distribution dialog box when you send an item to FBA. This information, in addition to prep type (stickerless or labeled) and fulfillment center, will be used to determine if an item can be added to an existing shipment or if a new shipment needs to be opened.
